Two-pole design (2P) switches both phase and neutral, with no internal neutral switching — the neutral is switched through the second pole, not a dedicated neutral link. This is typical for single-phase 230 V circuits in split-phase or two-wire systems where both conductors need overcurrent protection.
Temperature derating and installation
Rated 50 A at 30 °C ambient; derates to 47.15 A at 40 °C, 45.66 A at 45 °C, 44.12 A at 50 °C, and 42.53 A at 55 °C. In a warm panel or enclosure, use the 40 °C or 50 °C figure for sizing — the breaker will carry less current before nuisance-tripping. Mounts in any position on DIN rail. Depth is 76 mm, width 36 mm (2 modular units), height 90 mm, with 70 mm installation depth behind the panel.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction, sealable (can be locked in OFF position). Pollution degree 2, overvoltage category III, vibration resistant to 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. Suitability marked for residential buildings and infrastructure.
