At 0.5 A, this is a low-current branch protector — sized for control transformers, signal supplies, or instrumentation loops where a standard 1 A or 2 A MCB would be too coarse. The 72 V DC maximum rating covers control-circuit DC supplies, but the C curve's magnetic trip threshold (~5–10 A) means it may not clear a DC fault as fast as a dedicated DC-rated MCB — check coordination with downstream loads.
