It breaks fault currents up to 6 kA per both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2 at 400 V AC — the C-curve means it holds through motor inrush (5-10x rated) but trips fast on a hard short, so it's the usual choice for mixed lighting and small motor circuits in residential and light commercial panels.
The screw terminals accept solid or stranded copper from 0.75 mm² up to 25 mm², torqued to 2.5–3 N·m.
