Siemens 5SL6410-7 — 4-pole C-curve MCB for 400 V AC sub-distribution
The Siemens 5SL6410-7 is a 4-pole miniature circuit breaker from the SENTRON series, rated at 10 A with a C tripping characteristic and a 6 kA breaking capacity according to both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2.
At 400 V AC multi-phase, the 4-pole design (4P) switches all live conductors simultaneously, which is required for three-phase final circuits in many regions. Current rating is temperature-dependent: 10 A at 30 °C ambient, derated to 9.52 A at 40 °C, 9 A at 45 °C, and 8.74 A at 55 °C. Power loss per pole at rated current in hot operating state is 1.3 W, so total dissipation for the 4-pole unit is about 5.2 W — factor that into enclosure thermal calculations.
Mounting position is any orientation. Degree of pollution 2 and overvoltage category III are typical for fixed-installation MCBs.
