At 1.6 A the breaker protects a 0.37–0.55 kW motor on 400 V three-phase, or a lighting / control circuit drawing about 1.1 kVA per phase. If the supply transformer is close or the panel feeds a substation, verify the available fault current doesn't exceed this — if it does, step up to the 10 kA variant in the same SENTRON family. Temperature derating is published: full 1.6 A at 30 °C, 1.54 A at 40 °C, 1.49 A at 45 °C, 1.44 A at 55 °C. In a crowded enclosure running warm, the effective continuous current drops — size the upstream protective device accordingly.
Terminals are IP20 with conductors connected, suitable for enclosed distribution boards.
