Siemens 5SL6432-6 — 4-Pole B-Curve MCB at 32 A, 6 kA
The Siemens SENTRON 5SL6432-6 is a 4-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 32 A at 400 V AC, B-tripping characteristic, with a 6 kA breaking capacity certified to both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2. It occupies 4 modular width units (72 mm) on the DIN rail and is IP20 rated with connected conductors — standard for distribution board installation in residential and infrastructure builds.
The B-curve trips between 3 and 5 times rated current (96–160 A magnetic release), making it a good fit for resistive and lighting loads where inrush is moderate. The 6 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to 6 kA without upstream devices needing to clear it — adequate for most residential and light commercial service entrances where the prospective short-circuit current stays below that level.
Sealable with a lead seal to prevent tampering — useful for metering or rental subpanels. Supplementary devices (shunt trip, auxiliary contacts) can be added on the right side via the product extension feature.
