The Siemens 5SL6508-6CC is a SENTRON 5SL-series miniature circuit breaker — 1P+N, B-curve, rated 8 A at 230 V AC with a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898. The 1P+N pole arrangement switches the line and switches the neutral, which is standard for single-phase final subcircuits in many European and IEC-based panels. Overvoltage category 3 and energy limiting class 3 back up its coordination in a standard panel.
Physically it's a 2-module-wide (36 mm) unit, 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep, with a 70 mm installation depth into the distribution board. Mounting position is any — no orientation restrictions. Terminals accept solid or stranded copper from 0.75 mm² up to 25 mm², and the screw terminals call for 2.5 to 3 N·m of torque. That wire range covers everything from 1.5 mm² lighting circuits up to 6 or 10 mm² feeder tails common in residential boards. It's sealable (padlockable toggle), halogen-free and silicon-free, which matters if you're specifying for clean-room or sensitive-environment panels where outgassing is a concern.
Storage range is -40 to +75 °C.
