Siemens 5SL6606-6 SENTRON MCB — 4-pole B-curve 6 A for residential and infrastructure panels
The Siemens 5SL6606-6 is a 4-pole (3P+N) miniature circuit breaker from the SENTRON series, rated 6 A at 400 V AC with a B-curve tripping characteristic. It breaks fault currents up to 6 kA per EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2, making it a standard choice for final subcircuit protection in residential buildings and infrastructure installations where the B-curve's instantaneous trip threshold (3–5× In) suits lighting and general-purpose loads with low inrush. The 4-pole configuration includes a switched neutral (3P+N), so it isolates all live conductors on fault — important for TN and TT systems where neutral switching is required by local wiring rules. The neutral conductor switching function is built in, not an add-on accessory.
At 40 °C it derates to 5.64 A, at 45 °C to 5.52 A, and at 55 °C to 5.04 A. The breaker itself is rated for ambient up to 75 °C and down to -40 °C, with periodic humidity up to 95% at 55 °C.
It is halogen-free and silicon-free, sealable, and touch-protected. The product designation per IEC 81346-2 and DIN EN 61346-2 is F (protective device).
