What this 4-pole MCB does on the rail
The Siemens 5SL6632-7CC is a SENTRON 5SL6CC miniature circuit breaker rated 32 A at 400 V AC, C-curve tripping characteristic, 4-pole (3P+N) with switched neutral. The 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 covers most residential and light commercial distribution boards — enough for a submain feeding a mixed lighting and socket-outlet circuit where the prospective fault current stays under that threshold. C-curve means the magnetic trip operates at 5 to 10 times rated current, so it holds motor inrush from small pumps or compressors but still clears a hard short fast enough to protect the downstream cable.
Mounting and wiring fit
Snaps onto standard 35 mm DIN rail — 4 width units (72 mm wide), 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep. Installation depth is 70 mm, so it clears a standard 80 mm deep enclosure backplate. Terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 to 25 mm²; tighten to 2.5 to 3 N·m. IP20 with connected conductors — fine inside a closed panel, not for wet locations. Mounting position any, which helps when the rail is vertical or horizontal.
