Siemens Betagard 5SL7132-7RC is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with C-curve tripping at 32 A, rated for 240 V AC single-phase and up to 440 V AC multi-phase. Its dual breaking capacity — 15 kA per EN 60898 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2 — gives you headroom for industrial panels where fault current levels push past residential-grade 6 or 10 kA ratings.
That second rating is the one your panel designer or UL 508A shop will check against the SCCR label. At 32 A C-curve, this breaker sits in the sweet spot for feeder protection on a 7.5 kW motor circuit or a group of smaller loads on a 32 A bus. Single-pole design (1P) means it switches only the line conductor — neutral is not broken. That's standard for single-phase branch circuits in TN or TT systems. The 50/60 Hz rating covers both 50 Hz European and 60 Hz North American supply frequencies, so it's usable on either side of the pond as long as voltage and SCCR match local codes.
Occupies one modular width unit (18 mm) on DIN rail. IP20 with connected conductors. Mounting position any.
Betagard is Siemens' economy MCB family, below SENTRON 5SL/5SY series.
