The Siemens Betagard 5SL7225-7RC is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 25 A with a C tripping characteristic, designed for AC circuits up to 415 V (440 V max multi-phase).
Breaking capacity — what those numbers mean for your panel
The EN 60898 number is the one for residential/commercial distribution boards; the IEC 60947-2 rating is the industrial one, and it's higher — 20 kA at 415 V. For a 25 A feeder in an industrial panel with a transformer behind it, that's solid headroom. The 15 kA figure is the standard for most building-level sub-distribution.
Mounting and environment — panel-fit details
IP20 with conductors connected, so it's for inside a panel, not out in washdown. Sealable, halogen-free, silicon-free. Ambient temperature range -40 °C to 75 °C, but the current derating curve matters: at 40 °C it's 23.75 A, at 50 °C it's 22.5 A, at 60 °C it's 21.5 A.
