K-curve MCB for motor and transformer branch protection
The K curve means it tolerates the inrush of motor starters and control transformers without nuisance tripping — magnetic trip is set at 8–12× rated current, so a 2 A breaker holds through the 16–24 A peak a small motor draws for the first few cycles. Rated current is temperature-dependent: 2.2 A at 30 °C, 2.1 A at 40 and 45 °C, 2 A at 50 °C, and 1.9 A at 55 and 60 °C.
Integration notes
Supplementary devices can be installed on the same mounting rail — the product extension feature is supported, meaning auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or alarm switches clip on without extra brackets.
