The Siemens Betagard 5SL7350-7RC is a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a C-curve tripping characteristic, rated 415 V AC and breaking 15 kA per both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2.
That dual rating is important — EN 60898 is the residential/commercial standard (lower internal arc resistance), while IEC 60947-2 is the industrial standard (higher arc resistance, tested at power factor typical of industrial networks). The C-curve (magnetic trip at 5–10× rated current) is the default for motor branch circuits and mixed loads — it rides through the 8–10× FLA inrush of a standard induction motor starting across the line. Power loss per pole: 4.2 W at rated current.
Width: 18 mm per pole (3 modular units total). Height: 90 mm. Mounting position: any — vertical, horizontal, upside-down. The thermal-magnetic mechanism is orientation-independent, so no derating needed for side-mount or inverted installation. Vibration-resistant per IEC 60068-2-6, which covers the typical 2–9 Hz and 10–150 Hz sweep found on conveyor drives and compressor skids.
