The Siemens Betagard 5SL7463-8RC is a 4-pole miniature circuit breaker with a D tripping characteristic, rated 63 A at 415 V AC and a 10 kA breaking capacity per both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2.
The 18 mm per pole width is standard for a 4-pole MCB — fits existing Betagard or SENTRON distribution boards without panel rework. Mounting position is any, so vertical or horizontal busbar arrangements are fine.
The D-curve (10–20× In) suits loads with high inrush, such as motor feeders, transformers, or discharge lighting — the 63 A rating covers a 30–40 kW motor at 400 V depending on starting conditions.
