In a warm enclosure, check the ambient — at 60 °C the part is good for 70.4 A, not the full 80 A. The 30 mA trip sensitivity is standard for personnel protection. The short-circuit rating is 10 kA per IEC 61008-1 and 0.8 kA per EN 60898. That 10 kA figure is the withstand at the device terminals; the 0.8 kA is the rated breaking capacity under the MCB standard — coordination with an upstream MCB or fuse is needed if the prospective fault current exceeds 0.8 kA at the RCCB. The device is silicon-free, which matters for certain coating and potting processes in industrial electronics.
