Screw terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 16 mm²; tighten to 2.5–3 N·m. The IP20 rating applies only when the distribution board is installed with conductors connected.
Thermal derating and operating envelope
Full 25 A rating holds at both 40 °C and 45 °C ambient. Above that, derate linearly: 24 A at 50 °C, 23 A at 55 °C, 22 A at 60 °C, 21 A at 65 °C, and 20 A at 70 °C.

Overvoltage category III (distribution-board level) and finger- and back-of-hand safe touch protection are built in. The instantaneous design (no short-time delay) trips within one AC cycle on a residual fault — critical for personnel protection.
