It's a short-time delayed design, meaning it tolerates brief surge currents without nuisance tripping — useful on circuits feeding drives or switching power supplies that draw inrush. The 30 mA rating covers personnel protection (direct contact) per IEC/EN 61008.
Thermal derating and panel loading
The 63 A rating holds at 40 °C (58.6 A at 40 °C is the continuous current limit in a hot state). Derate progressively: 56.7 A at 50 °C, 53.55 A at 60 °C, 50.4 A at 70 °C. Each pole dissipates 4.6 W at rated current, so a 2-pole unit adds 9.2 W of heat to the cabinet; factor that into your thermal budget.
Two modular width units (MW) on DIN rail, 70 mm installation depth. IP20 with connected conductors in an installed distribution board — not rated for wet or dusty environments. The design is not sealable, so no padlock provision.
Surge current resistance 3 kA, surge voltage resistance 4 kV. Rated frequency 50 Hz AC only.
