It is a type A, instantaneous (no time delay) RCD rated 63 A with a 30 mA trip threshold, for 230 V AC single-phase circuits at 50 Hz only. The 71 mm width (2 modular width units) and 70 mm depth match the standard DIN-rail footprint, so it clips directly alongside a 5SY breaker in a residential or light-commercial distribution board.
The instantaneous design (no time delay) means it trips within the standard RCD response window; do not use it downstream of a time-delayed RCD if you need selectivity — for that you would need an S-type (time-delayed) RCD instead. Rated insulation voltage is 460 V with a 4 kV surge withstand (overvoltage category III), so the device is suitable for the incoming side of a distribution board, not just sub-circuits. IP20 protection applies only when the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected — this is a panel-internal device, not rated for wet or outdoor locations.
