Selective RCD for feeder protection
Its selective design (short-time delayed) coordinates with downstream RCDs so that only the faulted branch trips, keeping the rest of the distribution board live — critical for feeder circuits in industrial panels where nuisance tripping of the main supply is unacceptable. Rated insulation voltage is 460 V, and it handles surge currents up to 5 kA and surge voltages up to 4000 V, making it suitable for overvoltage category III environments. The operating frequency range covers 50/60 Hz. The unit is not adjustable for rated fault current or OFF-delay time, and it is not sealable — it's a fixed-setting device for straightforward selective coordination.
Depth is 70 mm, width 107 mm, height 90 mm — fits standard distribution board cutouts. Rated current of 63 A applies at 40 °C ambient. Above that, derate per the published curve: 58.6 A at 40 °C, 56.7 A at 50 °C, 53.55 A at 60 °C, and 50.4 A at 70 °C. If the panel runs hot, factor the derated value into the load calculation.
