The instantaneous design (no short-time delay) gives it the fastest possible trip for a fault, so it's your first line of defense on general-purpose circuits. Rated 63 A continuous at 45 °C ambient without derating. Push it to 50 °C and you're good for 60.48 A; at 70 °C it still holds 50.4 A.
Mounting and wiring reality
Snaps onto standard DIN rail (REG profile). Takes up 2.5 width units (45 mm) — that's a hair wider than a standard 2-pole MCB, so check your rail budget if you're retrofitting into a tight row. That's a wide enough range to handle both the outgoing circuit conductors and the incoming supply tails. Supply feeds from the bottom per the design. Finger and back-of-hand safe terminals — you can work live in a panel if you're careful, though I wouldn't make a habit of it. IP20 with the distribution board closed and conductors connected.
Coordination and selectivity notes
Rated surge current resistance at 1 kA. Permissible I²t is 70,000 A²·s. Silicon-free construction, which matters in potting or conformal-coating environments where silicone outgassing can cause contact reliability issues.
