Breaking capacity is 0.8 kA per IEC 61008-1 and EN 60898 — modest by industrial feeder standards, but adequate for the sub-distribution boards this RCCB is sized for. The let-through energy is capped at 70 000 A²·s (I²t), which tells you the internal arc-quenching geometry is designed to clear fast on a bolted fault.
Thermal derating — the number that matters in a warm panel
At 40 °C and 45 °C this RCCB carries a full 25 A. Push the ambient to 50 °C and it drops to 23.5 A; at 60 °C you're at 20.5 A; at 70 °C it's 17.5 A. That derating curve is the spec that decides whether this breaker holds in a crowded enclosure next to a transformer or a contactor bank.
The 77 mm overall depth leaves a few millimeters for wiring loops behind the busbar. Position of the supply cable can be top or bottom — no forced orientation. IP20 with the distribution board installed and conductors connected; finger and back-of-hand safe per the protection-against-electrical-shock feature.
