Conductor termination and panel integration
The 5SM3346-0LB: Terminals accept solid or stranded copper from 1.5 mm² up to 25 mm² — that covers the full range for a 63 A circuit (typically 10 mm² or 16 mm² for the load, 25 mm² for the incoming supply). Tightening torque is 2.5 to 3 N·m; a standard PZ2 bit seats the terminal screw without stripping the head. The power supply can enter from the top or bottom, which simplifies busbar routing in a crowded enclosure. Mounting position is any orientation, so a horizontal DIN rail in a shallow gland plate works as well as a vertical one. IP20 applies only with the distribution board closed and conductors connected — the front face is finger-and-back-of-hand safe per the standard.
Silicon-free construction — relevant if this RCCB shares an enclosure with potting or conformal-coating processes where silicone outgassing can cause adhesion failures. Storage temperature spans -40 to +75 °C, which covers unheated warehouses and shipping containers. Operating ambient is -5 to +45 °C; derate above 40 °C per the thermal curve in the datasheet.
