The Siemens 5SM3616-6KL01 is a 2-pole residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) from the SENTRON 5SM3 series, rated 63 A at 230 V AC, 50 Hz, with a 300 mA trip threshold and Type A fault current sensitivity. The short-time delayed design means it tolerates brief surge currents up to 3 kA without nuisance tripping — useful on circuits with motor drives or switching power supplies that generate a short inrush.
Mounts on DIN rail (REG) and occupies 2.5 width units (36 mm wide, 90 mm high, 70 mm deep). The screw terminals accept solid or stranded copper from 1.5 to 25 mm²; tighten to 2.5–3 N·m. Supply can land top or bottom. The N-left variant places the neutral on the left side — check your busbar orientation before wiring.
