The 10 kA SCCR at 230 V AC means it safely interrupts a fault up to that level without welding contacts or cascading upstream. Type A detection catches pulsating DC fault currents (common from rectified loads like VFDs, LED drivers, or switching power supplies) plus the usual sinusoidal AC — so it's the right choice for mixed-load panels where a plain AC-type RCCB would miss half the fault signature. The 2-pole form factor snaps onto a DIN rail (REG mounting), occupies 2.5 width units (about 45 mm), and accepts conductors from 1.5 to 25 mm² solid or stranded. That's enough cross-section for the full 80 A feed without needing a separate terminal adapter.
