The Siemens 5SN6110-8CP is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker from the SENTRON 5SN series, with a C-curve tripping characteristic. It's rated for 400 V AC at 50 Hz and up to 72 V DC, so it handles standard single-phase lighting and control circuits as well as DC auxiliary supplies in the same 18 mm-wide DIN-rail slot. The 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 covers most residential and light commercial panel fault levels; the 15 kA rating per IEC 60947-2 gives you headroom for industrial distribution boards where the prospective short-circuit current is higher. That dual rating means you can spec it into a panel that needs to meet either standard without swapping parts.
