The Siemens 5SN6308-7CN is a SENTRON miniature circuit breaker, 3-pole, C-curve, rated 8A with a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 at 400 V AC.
Mounts in any position — no derating for upside-down or horizontal orientation. The IP20 rating (with conductors connected) is standard for enclosed panel gear; no washdown rating here, so keep it behind a gland plate or enclosure door. Accepts solid conductors up to 25 mm², which is generous for an 8A breaker — useful when looping through multiple terminals or feeding a downstream distribution block.
Rated for -40 °C to +75 °C ambient, with periodic humidity up to +55 °C at 95% RH. Vibration tested to 50 m/s² at 25-150 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6, so it holds up on machinery-mounted subpanels. Sealable design allows tamper-proof locking after commissioning.
