The E tripping characteristic provides a higher magnetic trip threshold than B or C curves — typically 10–20× In — suited for loads with moderate inrush like transformer-fed circuits or groups of LED drivers that would nuisance-trip a C-curve. Overvoltage category IV and 6 kV surge voltage resistance mean it's rated for the meter-side of the installation, not just final circuits. The spring-loaded outgoing terminal and box-terminal infeed simplify wiring in a meter panel where space is tight. Depth is 76.3 mm, width 1.5 modular units (about 27 mm), so it occupies one and a half DIN spaces on the busbar.
