It is designed for use as the main breaker in residential and infrastructure meter panels, mounted on a 40-mm busbar system per DIN 43870 Part 2.
The E tripping characteristic provides a higher magnetic trip threshold than B or C curves — typically 10–20× In — suited for loads with moderate inrush like transformer-fed circuits or groups of LED drivers that would nuisance-trip a C-curve. Overvoltage category IV and 6 kV surge voltage resistance mean it's rated for the meter-side of the installation, not just final circuits. The spring-loaded outgoing terminal and box-terminal infeed simplify wiring in a meter panel where space is tight. Depth is 76.3 mm, width 1.5 modular units (about 27 mm), so it occupies one and a half DIN spaces on the busbar.
Deployment context and environment
This breaker mounts directly on a 40-mm busbar system in a meter panel, with the power supply cord position stipulated for the lower section per DIN 43870. Ambient temperature range -25 to +55 °C covers most utility closets and basement installations; storage range extends to -40 to +70 °C. Shock rated at 30 g, 11 ms duration, and vibration per IEC 60068-2-6 at 2 g.
