The Siemens 5SP3763-0 is a 1-pole main conductor circuit-breaker (SHU) rated for 63 A at 230/400 V. It's the part that sits between the incoming supply and the downstream distribution — the first point of protection for a branch circuit in a panel. For a shutdown planner, that means it's on the critical path: if this breaker isn't in hand before the outage window, the whole feeder stays open.
On a 400 V three-phase system, a single-pole breaker protects one phase leg.
Panel Integration
Snap-on DIN rail mounting, standard for panel builds. Terminals accept copper conductors sized for the 63 A rating — typically 16–25 mm² depending on local code and ambient derating. A commissioning engineer's checklist item: torque terminal connections to the value stamped on the breaker body, not the default for the wire size.
