It protects final circuits against overcurrent and short-circuit in commercial and light-industrial distribution boards, typically DIN-rail mounted inside a panel enclosure. The 70 mm installation depth keeps it compatible with standard compact enclosures where back-panel clearance is tight.
Breaking capacity — what the two ratings mean
This breaker carries two breaking-capacity ratings because the governing standard depends on where it is installed. Both ratings are at 400 V AC.
Terminal detail and panel integration
Both top and bottom terminals are tunnel-type, accepting copper conductors up to the cross-section the panel wireman specifies. The tunnel terminal design gives a reliable clamped connection without requiring bootlace ferrules, though ferruled stranded wire is fine.
