The Siemens 5SP9250-7KC47 is a 2-pole (2P) miniature circuit breaker from the SENTRON 5SP series, design 5SP9. The 440 V AC rated voltage gives headroom for 400 V nominal systems.
Terminal and conductor specs
Terminals accept solid and stranded copper from 0.75 mm² up to 50 mm², or AWG 14 to 2. Both top and bottom use tunnel terminals with screw clamps; tightening torque is 2.5 to 3.5 N·m (22–31 lbf·in). That's a wide wire range — enough for a 50 A feed on the line side and smaller tap conductors on the load side.
Mounting and environmental fit
The housing is IP20 with conductors connected — standard for panel-internal use, not for wet or outdoor locations without an enclosure. Shock resistance is 150 m/s² at 11 ms half-sine; vibration resistance is 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz and 60 m/s² at 35 Hz (4 s). Mechanical endurance is 20,000 switching cycles typical.
