What this MCB does on the rail
It carries a 50 kA breaking capacity under IEC 60947-2 — that's the standard for industrial panelboards and distribution boards where fault currents can hit serious levels. The C-curve means it holds through moderate inrush (motor starting, capacitor banks) and trips on short-circuit fast enough to protect downstream wiring. Mounts on standard DIN rail with screw fixing, takes up 4.5 width units (about 81 mm), and has tunnel terminals top and bottom accepting solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 mm² up to 50 mm² — so it'll handle main feeder tails or subfeed distribution without adapters.
Rated for ambient temps from -25 to +45 °C, storage from -40 to +75 °C, and IP20 with conductors connected — standard for enclosed distribution boards. Shock rated at 150 m/s² (11 ms half-sine) and vibration at 50–60 m/s² per IEC 60068-2-27 and -6, so it's fine in industrial cabinets near rotating machinery or on shipping skids. Sealable design lets the installer lock the toggle position to prevent unauthorized reset after a trip.
