Branch-circuit protection for 2 A loads
It switches both line and neutral conductors (2P), making it suitable for single-phase or split-phase branch circuits where disconnecting the neutral is required. Overvoltage category 3 and energy limiting class 3 mean it's designed for fixed-installation mains with high prospective fault currents, limiting let-through energy to protect downstream wiring.
The C-curve trips magnetically at 5 to 10 times the rated current (10–20 A for this 2 A unit). That's the sweet spot for moderate inrush loads: small transformers, contactor coils, lighting ballasts, and control-circuit power supplies. It avoids nuisance tripping from brief start-up surges while still clearing hard faults quickly. For purely resistive loads or long cable runs, a B-curve would trip earlier; for motor circuits with higher inrush, a D-curve would be more forgiving.
The 55 mm depth clears most enclosure doors without interference. IP20 finger-safe protection means it must be installed inside a closed panel or distribution board — not for open-panel or wet-area use. Terminals accept copper conductors up to 25 mm², typical for branch-circuit wiring.
