SENTRON 5SQ2570-2YA20 — 2-pole C-curve 20 A MCB, 3 kA
The SENTRON 5SQ2570-2YA20 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker in the 5SQ series, rated 20 A at 400 V AC with a C tripping characteristic and a 3 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898.
The 20 A rating at 30 °C gives a continuous load capacity of 20 A; at elevated panel temperatures the thermal derating curve applies — 18.5 A at 40 °C, 17.4 A at 45 °C, 16.7 A at 55 °C, and 16 A at 60 °C. For industrial panels with higher available fault current, a breaker with a higher SCCR would be needed.
Panel integration
Snap-on DIN rail mounting, 2 MW wide (36 mm), 55 mm installation depth. The 1+N-pole design switches both phase and neutral, so it replaces a standard 1-pole MCB plus a separate neutral disconnect in single-phase panels — saves one width unit versus a 2-pole breaker that does not switch neutral.
