6 A Type B RCBO for final circuits
The Siemens 5SU1154-6KK06 is a 1P+N RCBO from the SENTRON range, combining overcurrent protection and residual current detection in a 2-module-width (36 mm) package.
Under IEC 60947-2, the rated short-circuit capacity rises to 35 kA, which matters when the RCBO is specified into an industrial panel with higher fault levels upstream.
Thermal derating and ambient range
The 6 A rating applies at 30 °C ambient. In a sealed enclosure or a board mounted near heat sources, the installer must apply the derating curve from the spec table to avoid nuisance tripping.
Supply can enter from either top or bottom, simplifying busbar routing in a crowded board. Installation depth is 70 mm plus the 77 mm overall depth, so the device clears a standard 80 mm deep enclosure. Degree of pollution 2 and overvoltage category III are standard for fixed-installation distribution boards. The IP20 rating applies only when the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected — the RCBO itself is not touch-safe until enclosed.
