The Siemens 5SU1322-7KC16 is a SENTRON 5SU1 RCBO — a combined residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection — rated 16 A with a 30 mA residual trip, type A, C characteristic, and a 50 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2. Two poles, 400 V AC, 50 Hz. The 30 mA type A trip catches pulsating DC fault currents that a type AC would miss — common on variable-speed drives, LED drivers, and switched-mode supplies. The C characteristic (5–10× In magnetic trip) handles motor inrush and capacitive loads without nuisance tripping.
DIN-rail integration and wiring
Occupies 2 width units on a DIN rail. Mounting position any. Installation depth 70 mm. Screw terminals accept 0.75 to 35 mm² solid or stranded.
