It combines a B-curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) and a residual current device (RCD) in one 3-module-width unit. The residual current element provides earth-fault protection for personnel and equipment. The 6 A rating is only valid at 30 °C ambient. Inside a closed distribution board, ambient temperature is often higher.
