The B curve (3–5× In instantaneous trip) suits resistive and general-purpose loads; for motor or transformer inrush, a C or D curve would be the better fit.
Depth is 77 mm, installation depth 70 mm — verify the enclosure depth before committing; a shallow consumer unit or compact distribution board may not close the cover with conductors dressed. IP20 only when the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected — not a standalone outdoor device. Supply can enter from top or bottom, which simplifies rework in existing panels.
Thermal derating — the real-world rating
At 40 °C it drops to 9.5 A, at 50 °C to 9 A, at 60 °C to 8.5 A, and at 70 °C to 7.7 A.
