The Siemens 5SU1324-7FA10 is a 2-pole RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) from the SENTRON family, combining a C-curve MCB and an RCD in a single 3-module-width unit. The breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2, giving it headroom for industrial panel coordination where the prospective fault current is known to be higher than a standard domestic MCB can handle.
Temperature derating — the real current rating in a warm panel
The 10 A rating is only valid at 30 °C ambient. Inside a distribution board running warm, the continuous current must be derated: 9.5 A at 40 °C, 9 A at 50 °C, 8.5 A at 60 °C, and 7.7 A at 70 °C.
Occupies 3 modular width units (54 mm) on a DIN rail, with a depth of 77 mm and an installation depth of 70 mm. Mounting position is any orientation. The IP20 rating applies only when the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected — this is a panel-interior device, not a surface-mount enclosure.
