Breaking capacity is 6 kA per EN 60898 and 7.5 kA per IEC 60947-2 — enough for residential and light commercial panels where the prospective fault current stays under that threshold.
At a 30 °C ambient the device carries the full 25 A. Derate to 24 A at 40 °C, 23.5 A at 45 °C, 23 A at 50 °C, 22.5 A at 55 °C, and 22 A at 60 °C. The 30 mA residual trip sensitivity is standard for personnel protection (shock risk) in most IEC-based wiring codes.
Two module-widths (36 mm wide, 72 mm deep, 85 mm tall) mean it occupies two 18 mm slots in a distribution board. Touch protection is built in — no exposed live parts when wired correctly. IP20 rating applies only when the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected. Outside the enclosure it's not protected against water ingress — treat it as a panel-internal device only.
