This is the 1P+N (2-pole) variant, switching the line and monitoring the neutral.
Type A fault current sensitivity detects pulsating DC residual currents, which standard AC-only RCDs miss; that covers variable-speed drives, switched-mode power supplies, and modern electronics loads.
Temperature derating — the real-world current
At 40 °C it's 9.5 A, at 50 °C it's 9 A, and at 60 °C it's 8.5 A. By 70 °C the continuous current drops to 7.7 A.
Snap-on DIN rail mount, any position. Supply feed can enter from top or bottom — no mandatory orientation. Accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 mm² up to 35 mm², which covers everything from 1.5 mm² lighting circuits to 10 mm² submains.
