What it is and what it does
The Siemens 5SU1354-0KV06 is a combined residual-current device and miniature circuit breaker (RCBO) — an FI/LS protector in Siemens terminology. It packs Type AC (WS) earth-leakage detection at 30 mA sensitivity with a 1+N-pole B-curve 6 A overcurrent trip into a 70 mm wide DIN-rail module. The 10 kA breaking capacity means it can interrupt a fault current up to that level without welding the contacts or cascading damage upstream in the panel.
Panel integration
The 70 mm width occupies three standard 18 mm DIN-rail module spaces. Spring-cage or screw terminals accept 0.2–2.5 mm² conductors. The Type AC detection handles sinusoidal AC residual currents; for pulsating DC or mixed-frequency faults, a Type A variant would be required.
