The Siemens 5SU1354-6KV10 is a combined residual-current device and miniature circuit breaker — an FI/LS protector — in a single 1+N-pole module. It integrates Type A earth-leakage detection at 30 mA with a B-curve overcurrent trip rated at 10 A, all in a 70 mm-wide housing.
The Type A classification means this device detects AC pulsating DC earth faults and smooth DC residual currents up to 6 mA — required on circuits feeding single-phase rectified loads like washing machines, LED drivers, or IT equipment.
Panel integration
The 70 mm module width (4 module spaces on a standard 18 mm DIN rail) fits standard distribution boards and consumer units. The 1+N-pole configuration switches the line conductor only; the neutral is switched internally for isolation but is not overcurrent-protected. Wire terminations accept solid or stranded copper conductors typical of final subcircuits.
