The Siemens SENTRON 5SU1354-6LB32 is a 2-pole (1P+N) RCBO combining a B-curve miniature circuit breaker with Type A residual current protection, rated 32 A at 30 °C. It carries a 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2, so it clears faults up to those levels without cascading upstream — the higher IEC figure matters for industrial panel SCCR compliance. The short-time delayed G characteristic (super resistant K) means it tolerates brief inrush without nuisance tripping, useful on motor or capacitive loads.
DIN-rail footprint and temperature derating
Two modular width units (36 mm wide, 77 mm deep, 90 mm high) snap onto standard DIN rail. Supply cord position can be either top or bottom, and mounting position is unrestricted — no orientation constraints in the panel. The 70 mm installation depth leaves room behind the gland plate. Rated current derates with ambient temperature: 32 A at 30 °C, 30.4 A at 40 °C, 29.76 A at 45 °C, 28.8 A at 50 °C, 27.84 A at 55 °C, 27.2 A at 60 °C, 25.92 A at 65 °C, and 24.64 A at 70 °C. If the panel runs hot, size the branch circuit for the derated figure — not the 30 °C number.
Construction and compliance
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction, so it meets clean-room and semiconductor-fab material restrictions. IP20 when installed in a distribution board with connected conductors — standard for enclosed panel use, not for wet or outdoor locations. Overvoltage category III, pollution degree 2, energy limitation class 3. Ambient temperature range -40 to 75 °C covers most indoor and sheltered outdoor cabinets.
