What this part is and what the ratings mean
The Siemens 5SU1354-7KV06 is a combined residual-current device and miniature circuit breaker — an FI/LS-protector — in a single 1+N-pole module. It pairs a Type A RCD (30 mA rated residual current) with a C-curve MCB rated 6 A, all in a 70 mm-wide housing. The 10 kA breaking capacity means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level under standard conditions, which covers the majority of residential and light commercial panel applications. The Type A RCD detects pulsating DC fault currents as well as sinusoidal AC — needed on circuits with electronics, rectifiers, or single-phase drives that can generate pulsed DC leakage.
Deployment context and panel integration
Snap-on DIN-rail mounting for 70 mm-wide modules. The 1+N-pole format (switched phase plus switched neutral) is common in TN-S and TT systems where the neutral must be disconnected with the phase. Rated for 50/60 Hz networks.
