Two-pole, single-module-width design (36 mm wide, 2 MW) fits standard DIN-rail distribution boards.
Type A residual current detection catches pulsating DC fault currents, covering single-phase rectified loads like switched-mode power supplies or LED drivers. The 30 mA sensitivity provides personal protection against direct contact. Breaking capacity splits by standard: 10 kA under EN 60898 for residential final circuits, 20 kA under IEC 60947-2 for industrial panel coordination. The 20 kA figure gives the designer more fault-current headroom when the device sits downstream of a transformer with higher prospective short-circuit current.
