Siemens 5SU1356-0KK10 — SENTRON RCBO, 10 A, Type B
The Siemens 5SU1356-0KK10 is a SENTRON RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) in a 1P+N configuration, rated 10 A at 30 °C with a Type B tripping characteristic. It occupies two modular width units (36 mm) on a DIN rail and is designed for instantaneous operation at 50 Hz, 230/240 V AC. The Type B characteristic means the magnetic trip releases at 3 to 5 times the rated current — suited for resistive and general-purpose loads where inrush is moderate. The 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 covers most domestic and light commercial sub-distribution boards; the 15 kA rating per IEC 60947-2 gives headroom for industrial panel coordination studies. Rated current derates with ambient temperature: 9.5 A at 40 °C, 9 A at 50 °C, 8 A at 70 °C. If the panel runs warm, size the branch circuit at the derated figure, not the 30 °C label.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on a DIN rail in any position. Depth is 77 mm, installation depth 70 mm; the 36 mm width (2 MW) fits standard enclosure cutouts. Supply can enter from top or bottom — no orientation constraint for wiring. IP20 rating applies once the distribution board is closed and conductors are connected.
