Surge voltage resistance is 4000 V, and the unit handles a 3 kA surge current (8/20 μs waveform), which is the standard impulse for lightning-induced transients on low-voltage mains. Energy limitation class 3 means the RCBO limits let-through energy during a fault, reducing stress on downstream equipment and wiring.
