The 63 A rating and C characteristic suit motor and lighting loads with moderate inrush — the C curve trips at 5–10× rated current, so it avoids nuisance tripping on starting currents up to about 630 A for short durations. The 100 mA Type AC residual current detects sinusoidal AC earth faults; it is standard for general-purpose circuits not serving sensitive electronics or DC components. The dual breaking capacity (10 kA EN 60898 / 15 kA IEC 60947-2) means the device can safely interrupt fault currents up to 15 kA at the panel level, which is typical for main or sub-main distribution in commercial and light industrial installations.
The 7-module width (126 mm) means it occupies seven 18 mm DIN-rail positions — plan for this in the distribution board layout.
