Rated 63 A, 4-pole RCBO with Type A residual current protection
Type A residual current detection covers sinusoidal AC faults and pulsating DC faults.
The 5SU1444-7RC63 carries a 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2. The EN 60898 rating governs residential and commercial distribution boards; the IEC 60947-2 rating applies when the device is installed in an industrial environment where higher prospective fault currents are expected. For a 63 A RCBO, 15 kA at 440 V insulation voltage gives solid headroom for most sub-distribution panels.
Installation and environmental limits
Mounts on DIN rail in any orientation (mounting position any). The 70 mm depth and 90 mm height match the standard SENTRON modular footprint; the 126 mm width (7 x 18 mm modules) is wider than a typical 4-pole MCB because the residual current electronics occupy additional space. Supply can enter from top or bottom. IP20 with conductors connected; the distribution board enclosure provides the actual ingress protection. The neutral conductor is switched internally, so the device isolates all poles including neutral on a fault.
