It combines a Type C miniature circuit breaker and a residual current device (Type AC) into one unit, protecting against both overload/short-circuit and earth leakage in a single 1P+N pole configuration. The breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2, so it can interrupt fault currents up to 20 kA at 230/240 V AC without upstream cascading.
Temperature derating and installation
At 40 °C the continuous current drops to 12.48 A, at 55 °C to 11.57 A, and at 70 °C to 10.01 A. If the panel runs hot (e.g., enclosed with other heat-generating devices), use the derated figure for the BOM load calculation — the breaker will trip earlier than the nameplate suggests if the ambient exceeds 30 °C. IP20 is achieved only when the distribution board is installed with connected conductors — not a standalone rating.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. Rated for 50 Hz only. The function designation per IEC 81346-2 and DIN EN 61346-2 is F. Test equipment minimum voltage is 100 V AC.
